Os funcionários da American Airlines que atuam no Aeroporto
Tom Jobim/Galeão (GIG),
no Rio de Janeiro, foram reconhecidos pela
primeira vez com o prêmio American’s Customer Cup, que avaliou a base de operação
da companhia como a que forneceu a melhor experiência aos clientes
durante o quarto trimestre de 2013.
Os vencedores do Customer Cup
são selecionados com base
em pesquisas e comentários dos clientes da companhia e os funcionários do Rio de Janeiro concorreram com outras 12 cidades do mundo.
Todas as bases com voos da American Airlines são classificadas
por tamanho de mercado,
do maior para o menor aeroporto,
de acordo com a quantidade de voos. O Rio de Janeiro
ganhou por melhorar a satisfação dos clientes
em uma série de áreas-chave, incluindo a
experiência de voo em geral, a recomendação
para outros clientes, a eficiência no embarque, a limpeza das aeronaves e
as informações precisas prestadas nos portões de embarque.
